Islanders Return Cizikas to Sound Tigers

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (April 11, 2012) - The New York Islanders announced today they have returned center Casey Cizikas on loan to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.

Cizikas, 21, returns to the Sound Tigers after spending the final six weeks of the NHL's regular season with the New York Islanders. The rookie forward posted four assists in his first 15 games of NHL experience, including his first career NHL multi-point game with two assists against Philadelphia on March 1, 2012.

The 5'10, 192 -pound center returns to the Sound Tigers where he is tied with Rhett Rakhshani for the team lead with 44 points ( 15 goals, 29 assists) and leads the Sound Tigers in the plus/minus category with a plus-25 rating.
