
Islanders Return Cizikas to Sound Tigers

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (April 11, 2012) - The New York Islanders announced today they have returned center Casey Cizikas on loan to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
Cizikas, 21, returns to the Sound Tigers after spending the final six weeks of the NHL's regular season with the New York Islanders. The rookie forward posted four assists in his first 15 games of NHL experience, including his first career NHL multi-point game with two assists against Philadelphia on March 1, 2012.
The 5'10, 192 -pound center returns to the Sound Tigers where he is tied with Rhett Rakhshani for the team lead with 44 points ( 15 goals, 29 assists) and leads the Sound Tigers in the plus/minus category with a plus-25 rating.
The Sound Tigers travel to Providence on Friday to face the Bruins at 7:00 p.m. and visit Wilkes/Barre-Scranton on Saturday before concluding a home-and-home series and the regular season against the Penguins at Webster Bank Arena on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. Be sure to follow @TheSoundTigers on Twitter and "like" The Official Bridgeport Sound Tigers Fan Site on Facebook for the latest Sound Tigers news and information.
