B-Sens Recall Forward Jack Downing from Elmira

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have recalled forward Jack Downing from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

Downing, 23, posted 11 goals and eight assists for 19 points in 25 regular season games with the Jackals this season.

Downing was reassigned to Elmira by the B-Sens on Monday night. The 6-3, 200-pound forward went on to record an assist as the Jackals defeated the Reading Royals, 4-2, in Game 5 of the best-of-five ECHL Eastern Conference Quarterfinals that same night.

A native of New Canaan, C.T., Downing has appeared in 45 games for the B-Sens this season, recording 17 points (nine goals, eight assists).

The B-Sens return to action on Friday as they travel to Wilkes-Barre to face the Penguins. Game time is 7:05 p.m. Fans can listen live on "Binghamton's Classic Hits" BIG 107.5 (WBBI-FM). Voice of the B-Sens Grady Whittenburg will have the call beginning 30 minutes before game time as he hosts Countdown to Faceoff.
