
Albany Devils Sign Boucher to ATO

ALBANY, N.Y. - The Albany Devils today signed Reid Boucher to an amateur tryout agreement. The announcement was made by Albany Devils General Manager Chris Lamoriello.
Boucher, 18, was drafted in the fourth round (99th overall) by New Jersey during the 2011 Entry Draft. The 5-11, 195-lb. left-winger joins Albany after completing his first season with the Sarnia Sting of the OHL. He registered 50 points (28g-22a) in 67 games. Additionally, he posted three points (2g-1a) in six playoff contests.
Prior to his time with Sarnia, Boucher spent two years with the United States National Development Program. In 2009-10, he had 14 points (10g-4a) in 24 USHL contests. He also produced 16 points (7g-9a) in 17 outings with the Under-17 team and made one appearance with the Under-18 squad. In 2010-11, Boucher had 20 points (14g-6a) in 24 USHL games and registered 20 points (12g-8a) in 35 contests with the Under-18 team.
Boucher was born on Sept. 8, 1993 in Lansing, Mich.
