Louisville City FC News Release
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville City FC and Louisville-based ISCO Industries have extended their partnership after a historic inaugural season, the Club announced Tuesday. ISCO will have its logo on the sleeve of all Louisville City game-worn and replica jerseys throughout the 2016 season.
"We are thrilled to extend our partnership with ISCO Industries into the club's second season," Louisville City president Amanda Duffy said. "With a global presence ISCO continues to be a great supporter of the sport and through our aligned goals we look forward to continuing our relationship that helps support the Louisville community."
Per Club policy, the terms of the agreement are not disclosed.
"Our roots are in Louisville, but we're a multinational company," ISCO Industries president and CEO Vince Tyra said. "Passion for soccer runs deep in many of the countries in which we do business, so we're proud to be part of that excitement here at home. Our employees and customers loved being a part of LCFC's inaugural season and we're looking forward to donning the purple for another year. We wish the team great success and are proud to be a corporate sponsor."
With humble beginnings in a family hardware store, ISCO has seen tremendous growth over the years. Today, ISCO is a total piping solutions provider headquartered at its original location in Louisville. ISCO continues to be a worldwide leader in HDPE piping products while expanding into new areas of piping solutions for various industries and applications.
Entering the 2016 preseason this month, Louisville City FC has returned 13 players from the 2015 roster while adding new additions like MLS Cup-winning forward Chandler Hoffman, University of Louisville alumnus Paolo DelPiccolo and University of Kentucky alumnus George Davis IV.
Louisville City FC will begin regular season play on March 26 at Charlotte Independence. LouCity then returns to Louisville Slugger Field on April 2 to host New York Red Bulls II in the home opener, with a special 3 p.m. kickoff.
