Portland Winterhawks News Release

The Portland Winterhawks announced today that they have traded goaltender Isaiah DiLaura to the Swift Current Broncos for a conditional 7th round draft pick in 2021. The move frees up a roster spot for the return of Joel Hofer from World Juniors.

DiLaura went 4-2-0-2 this year with the first place Hawks and he was on pace for career-best numbers with a 3.27 goals-against average and .891 save percentage. Prior to playing in Portland, the St. Paul, Minnesota native spent two seasons with the Prince George Cougars.

In 44 career WHL games, DiLaura is 11-15-1-5 with a 3.53 goals-against average and .890 save percentage. The Winterhawks would like to thank Isaiah for his time in Portland and we wish him all the best heading east to play for the Broncos.
