Last time they met: The Rebels & Blades did battle most recently on January 3rd in Red Deer, with the Blades prevailing in overtime 4-3 courtesy of Chase Wouters' winner. Scott Walford, Nolan Kneen & Kyle Crnkovic also scored for the Blades while Nolan Maier made 30 saves in net.
What it means for the Blades: Finding their first win at home for 2020 and kicking off their four game homestand on the right note.
The stat: 4 - Eric Florchuk is currently on a four game point streak with five assists in that span and has points in nine of his last 11 games. If Florchuk is on his game the Blades are just that much better off.
It's a big night for: Kyle Crnkovic - the sophomore forward has three points, including two goals, against the Rebels this season. Crnkovic is producing .03 more points per game than last season, so a big second half of the season would go a long way to the Blades' success as well as increasing his own NHL Draft stocks.
Winning Wednesday: Buy 1 ticket and receive a 2nd for just $2. Then if the Blades win, everyone at the game will receive a free ticket voucher on their way out for the next Blades home game. Plus, wings are on special on special too!
Canadian Tire Jumpstart Jersey Raffle: Buy a raffle ticket for the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Jersey raffle and you will also have a chance to win a game worn jersey from that very night from the player of your choice.
