
IronPigs Start Eight Game Road Trip

The fifth-place IronPigs (28-41) start an eight-game, South Division road trip with Game One of a four-game series against the Norfolk Tides (31-39) -- Baltimore top affiliate. With a 4-1 win yesterday, the 'Pigs won two in a row to take a home series against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, 3-1 -- giving them their first series victory of 2010. The Pigs are now 10-8 in their last 18 affairs... Norfolk lost last night, 5-1, and wound up splitting its four-game series at Toledo. The Tides went 3-5 on their West Division road trip and are now 7-6 since a five-game skid.
LHP Joe Savery (1-7, 4.92) will start for LHV against RHP Brad Bergesen (1-0, 4.66).
First pitch is slated for 7:15 p.m. from Harbor Park.
