Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The Pigs (6-5) will play Game Three of a four-game series against the first-place Pawtucket Red Sox (9-3), who entered the series with the second-best record in all of MiLB (Advanced-A Fort Myers, 10-0)... With an 8-6 win yesterday, the Pigs have now dealt the Sox all three of their losses this season and have started an impressive 4-1 on this seven-game, North Division road trip... The Paw Sox -- Boston's top affiliate -- have now lost two in a row for the first time this season, which follows the reigning IL Champs' season-high, five-game winning streak.

LHP Cesar Jimenez (0-0, 0.00) will make the spot-start for LHV against RHP Terry Doyle (1-0. 0.79).

First-pitch is at for 6:15 p.m.

Tomorrow's series finale is scheduled for 12:05 p.m... The Pigs return home for Buffalo on Friday.
