Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (65-57) play Game One of a two-game series against the fourth-place Rochester Red Wings (61-60) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 6-0 loss to Syracuse last night, the Pigs split the two-game series with Chiefs and fell to 2-2 on this six-game, North Division homestand. Since July 6, the Pigs have gone just 14-21 in their last 35 contests -- going from a season-high 3.0-games up to 3.0-games back in the North... Rochester -- Minnesota's top affiliate -- defeated Pawtucket, 5-3, last night to split a two-game home series. Rochester has gone 9-4 in its last 13 affairs. After starting 20-30, the Red Wings are 41-30 since May 29.
RHP Scott Elarton (5-9, 5.27) will start for LHV against RHP Liam Hendriks (8-2, 2.14).
