IronPigs Game Notes
April 20, 2012 - International League (IL1)
Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (11-4) play Game One of a three-game series against the Rochester Red Wings (7-7) at Frontier Field... With an 8-4 win yesterday in Buffalo, the Pigs snapped their first two-game skid of the season and remained tied with the Gwinnett Braves (11-4) for the best record in the International League... The Red Wings -- Minnesota's top affiliate -- lost to Scranton/WB last night, 5-3, and dropped the final two games to split the four-game "road" series. The Red Wings have lost six of their last eight affairs after starting 5-2 -- the first time they were three games over .500 (5-2) since 5/17/09, when they were 19-16 (they had started 5-1 that season).
RHP Dave Bush (1-1, 0.90) will start for LHV against RHP P.J. Walters (1-1, 3.38) in a rematch of a Pigs' 3-1 win on April 15.
First-Pitch is at 7:05 p.m...
The games on both Saturday and Sunday feature 1:05 p.m. starting times.
