Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
Following the All-Star Break, the first-place IronPigs (53-37) resume play with a doubleheader -- Games One and Two of a three-game series -- against the fourth-place Syracuse Chiefs (38-50). With a 5-2 win in Syracuse last Sunday, the Pigs finished the half by sweeping a two-game set at Alliance Bank Stadium and with a three-game winning streak. They went 4-3 on the seven-game, North Division road trip. Just 12-13 in their last 25 affairs, the Pigs remain 43-26 since starting 10-11 (through April 28)... The Chiefs -- Washington's top affiliate -- have lost five of their last six games. Still, they've gone 11-9 in their last 20 affairs after falling to a season-worst 27-42 on June 21...
