Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The first-place IronPigs (31-20) play Game Three of a four-game series against the South's second-place Gwinnett Braves (26-25) at Coolray Field. With a 7-2 loss last night, the Pigs had their four-game road winning streak snapped and are now 1-1 on this current eight-game, South Division road trip. Still, the Pigs have won 15 of their last 21 games and, over a longer span, are 24-12 in their last 36 contests (since April 23)... The G-Braves -- Atlanta's top affiliate -- ended their season-high (tied), four-game losing streak. Even so, they are still just 7-10 in their last 16 affairs...
RHP Brian Gordon (3-0, 1.01) will start for LHV against LHP Yohan Flande (2-1, 4.29).
First-Pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
With a win tonight, the Pigs will have their 100th all-time road win... and get back to their high-water mark of 12 G.
