The fifth-place IronPigs (52-79) play Game One of a mini two-game series against the first-place Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees (78-51) -- New York's top affiliate. With a 5-0 loss to Syracuse last night, the Pigs were swept in their two-game series against the Chiefs and finished to 2-3 on their five-game, Northern Division homestand. Though they have gone 6-5 in their last 11 games, the Pigs are just 8-21 in their last 29 affairs after winning a season-best six of seven, July 19-25... The Yankees -- who own the second-best record in the International League behind Durham (83-48) -- won 3-2 against Rochester to sweep the two-game series and run their winning streak to six games. Since a season-high, four-game losing streak 7/21-7/24, the Yankees have gone 21-7 (.750) in their last 28 games.

LHP Nate Robertson (NR; 6-8, 5.47 with FLA) will make his IronPigs debut against RHP Lance Pendleton (1-0, 5.79).

First-pitch is at 7:05 p.m. at PNC Field in Moosic, Pa.

LHV needs a win to avoid tying its '10 low-water mark of 28 G below .500; its lowest since ending '08 at 55-89.
