Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The fifth-place IronPigs (44-64) play Game Two of a four-game series against the third-place Buffalo Bisons (54-53) -- the Mets' top affiliate. With a 4-1 loss last night, the Pigs have tied a season-long, six-game losing streak -- which comes after winning six of seven. They've also lost three consecutive to Buffalo... Buffalo has won two straight contests and three of five overall since dumping six consecutive games -- their second longest skid of 2010... Once a season-high 29-19 on May 28, the Bisons are 25-34 since.
RHP Vance Worley (0-0, 0.00) will start for LHV against RHP Fernando Nieve (NR).
First-pitch tonight is at 7:05 p.m. at Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo.
