Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The fifth-place IronPigs (30-47) return home for five games in four days beginning with a doubleheader* tonight against the sixth-place Rochester Red Wings (29-49) -- Minnesota's top affiliate. With a heart-wrenching, 3-2 walk-off^ lost at Durham yesterday, the 'Pigs dropped their series to the Bulls, 3-1, and finished just 2-6 on the eight-game, South Division road trip... Rochester, which has the worst record in the IL, lost last night 7-6 at SWB and was swept in its four-game series at Moosic -- and has now has a season-high, seven-game losing streak (and 11 of 12). Since June 13, the Red Wings have gone just 2-13.

In Game One*, rehabbing LHP

J.A. Happ (NR) will start for LHV against RHP

Brad Hennessey (1-1, 7.82).

In Game Two, RHP

Brandon Duckworth (2-3, 4.43) will start for LHV against RHP

Matt Fox (4-6, 3.94).

*TODAY'S "DOUBLE-DIP":

Technically, tonight is not a doubleheader... Game One is the completion of a suspended game from April 16... The game will pick up 0-0 in the bottom of the 2nd (1 on, 2 outs)... Ironic that the game was originally started by rehabbing LHP J.C. Romero (since LHP J.A. Happ is rehabbing when game resumes). LHP Joe Savery worked a scoreless 2nd.
