Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The sixth-place IronPigs (20-35) play Game Three of a four-game against the third-place Charlotte Knights (25-32) -- the White Sox top affiliate. With a 2-1 loss last night, the 'Pigs have dropped two in a row and have started 0-2 on this eight-game home stand. Lehigh Valley has now dropped eight of its last 10 and has gone 9-21 in its last 30 affairs... Charlotte has won three straight games and is now 5-1 against Lehigh Valley this season. Since the series against the Pigs, the Knights have only gone 9-13 in their last 22 games.
RHP Drew Carpenter (5-4, 3.36) will start for LHV against RHP Jeff Marquez (4-4, 4.60).
First-Pitch today is at 1:35 p.m.
