Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The fifth-place IronPigs (15-23) play Game Two of a four-game series against the West's fourth-place Louisville Bats (16-23) -- Cincinnati's top affiliate. With a 2-1 loss in a franchise-long 16 innings last night, the 'Pigs had their first official two-game win streak snapped and have fallen to 4-9 in their last 13 affairs. They've started 0-1 on this eight-game home stand... Louisville has won back-to-back games and gone 8-4 in its last 12 contests after starting 8-19.
LHP Joe Savery (0-3, 4.91) will start for LHV against Reds super-prospect, LHP Aroldis Chapman (3-2, 4.63).
First-pitch is at 7:05 p.m. for Disco Logo Ball Giveaway, as presented by The Finish Line Running Store.

Pooped Pigs?: After ending a 15-inning marathon at midnight and boarded a bus for the ATL airport at 4 a.m. yesterday, the Pigs played a franchise-record 16-inning game last night -- competing 9:31 baseball in a 28:39 span! The 2-1 loss set a LHV franchise record for longest game in terms of innings (16), snapping the record set Monday.
