Iron Manny Bobbleheads Highlight Upcoming Homestand

Frederick, Md. -The Frederick Keys will be giving away a one-of-a-kind bobblehead this upcoming Saturday, while superheroes, state pride and the bond between mothers and sons will be celebrated. After concluding a three-game roadtrip, the Keys return to town for a four-game homestand starting this Friday, May 20 at 7:00 p.m. It marks the final time the team will be home this month.

Fans will want to arrive plenty early for Saturday's 6 p.m game against the Potomac Nationals. Gates open at five and the team will be giving away Iron Manny Machado bobbleheads to the first 1,000 fans courtesy of Flying Dog Brewery. A former Keys player in 2011, the bobblehead commemorates Machado as being the only MLB player to suit up for all 162 games during the 2015 season.

In conjunction with the giveaway, it is Superhero Night at the ballpark and fans can meet their favorite superheroes during the game. Afterwards there will be fireworks (also courtesy of Flying Dog Brewery).

The homestand kicks off on Friday night, when the Keys celebrate Maryland State Pride Night. All fans are encouraged to wear their favorite Maryland gear, while the first 1,000 fans will receive a pizza cutter presented by Pretzel and Pizza Creations. After the game the Keys will light up the night sky with fireworks presented by Bar-T Mountainside.

On Sunday, the weekend concludes with Mother/Son Day. Mom's and their sons are encouraged to come out for a special day, while a special first pitch ticket package is available by calling 301-815-9900. Fans of all ages can take part in Touch A Truck, as all sorts of unique trucks and vehicles will be available to check out before the game. First pitch is at 2 o'clock and gates open at one as it is also a Sunday Funday presented by Chili's. Fans can have a catch in the outfield from 1-1:30. Additionally, two Keys players will sign autographs on the concourse.
