
Iowa Signs Forward Kellan Lain

DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Wild General Manager Brent Flahr announced on Sunday the American Hockey League (AHL) club has signed forward Kellan Lain to a professional tryout agreement (PTO).
Lain, 26 (8/11/89), is in his fourth professional season. He is yet to make an appearance in the 2015-16 season. The 6-foot-6, 230-pounder appeared in 12 games with the Utica Comets (AHL) and Oklahoma City Barons (AHL) last season. Lain's best season came in 2013-14 with the Utica Comets, accumulating 19 points and 129 penalty minutes in 63 games. The forward has played in 88 AHL and nine NHL games over his career, including three more playoff games with the Vancouver Canucks (NHL) in the 2013-14.
Iowa travels to Rockford on Friday Oct. 30 for their second matchup of the season with the IceHogs. The Wild returns to Wells Fargo Arena for a pair of home games on Saturday Oct. 31 and Sunday Nov 1. Saturday's game against the Milwaukee Admirals will be at 7 p.m. Saturday night is also "Halloween Hat Trick or Treat" night at Wells Fargo Arena. Kids (12 and under) are encouraged to wear their costumes to the game and Trick-or-Treat on the concourse. Following the game the team will host a FREE post game skate. Iowa hosts Rockford on Sunday at 5 p.m. The game will include the Sunday combo pack courtesy of Subway and Star 102.5 FM.
Fans may purchase single-game tickets multiple ways, either through the team's website - www.Iowawild.com , the Wells Fargo Arena box office or participating Hy-Vee food stores. Tickets are available online at www.Iowawild.com under the single game tickets tab. The Wells Fargo Arena box office is open Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and closed on Sunday. For Saturday game days, the box office will open at 10 a.m. For Sunday game days the box office will open at 12 p.m. Fans may also purchase tickets by calling 1-844-55-HYVEE or by visiting participating Hy-Vee food stores locations in the greater Des Moines area. The Iowa Wild 2015-16 season is presented by Mercy Medical Center, it runs from October through April. Fans may purchase seats to see any of the team's 38 regular season home games at Wells Fargo Arena.
