CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - Three different players scored and G Laurent Brossoit made 24 saves as the Bakersfield Condors (2-3-0-1, 5pts, .417) shut out the San Diego Gulls (4-1-0-0, 8pts, .800) Saturday night at Rabobank Arena.
FIRST PERIOD
CONDORS GOAL: C Philip McRae (2nd) off a face off, snap shot from the right circle. Assist: Platzer; Time of goal: 6:09; BAK leads, 1-0
Shots: BAK - 7; SD - 8 SECOND PERIOD
CONDORS GOAL: C Leon Draisaitl (1st) with a wrist shot from the left circle off a Gulls turnover. Assists: Ford; Time of goal: 13:30; BAK leads, 2-0
Shots: BAK - 10; SD -6 THIRD PERIOD
CONDORS GOAL: LW Ryan Hamilton (2nd) slammed home a centering pass from the side of the net. Assists: Nikitin, Hunt; Time of goal: 5:20; BAK leads, 3-0
Tempers flared at 8:51 of the third with a 5-on-5 line brawl. Nine players were ejected and 99 penalty minutes were handed out because of the fracas.
