
Iowa Energy Win over the Sioux Falls Skyforce

Des Moines, Iowa - The Iowa Energy (25-24) won 106-100 over the Sioux Falls Skyforce (39-10) Thursday night at Wells Fargo Arena
The Energy were led by Andrew Harrison with 30 points, six rebounds and four assists. Ramon Harris added 16 points and nine rebounds and D.J. Stephens posted 15 points and 11 rebounds. The Skyforce were led by Jarnell Stokes with 29 points and 11 rebounds.
The Energy got off to a hot start in the game. Harrison and Harris scored seven points each as Iowa shot 65 percent from the field. The Energy held a 31-23 advantage at the end of the first quarter. Iowa took control of the game in the second quarter, opening up a 23-point lead over the Skyforce. Harrison led the Energy with 16 first half points as Iowa led 61-43 at halftime.
The Skyforce started the second half strong. Stokes led Sioux Falls with 10 points in the quarter as they outscored the Energy 34-21 to cut the deficit to five points at the end of quarter with Iowa leading 82-77. The Skyforce kept it close in the fourth as they took the lead with less than 6:00 to play for the first time since the first quarter. It was a back and forth battle down the stretch to the final minute with eight lead changes. A couple of late free-throws from the Energy sealed the 106-100 win for Iowa.
The Energy finish the season Saturday night at 7 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena.
