
Iowa Energy Win Fourth Game in a Row

Des Moines, Iowa - The Iowa Energy (22-23) won 112-100 over the Erie BayHawks (11-34) Monday night at Wells Fargo Arena.
The Energy were led by James Ennis with 25 points and seven rebounds. D.J. Stephens added 19 points and eight rebounds. Andrew Harrison posted 17 points, six rebounds and four assists. The BayHawks were led by Keith Appling with 28 points, five rebounds and three assists. Aaron Harrison added 19 points and seven rebounds.
It was a back and forth battle to start the game with five early lead changes. Six Energy players scored a basket in the first quarter as the Energy held a three-point lead, 19-16. Iowa took control of the game in the second quarter, opening up a 14-point lead. D.J. Stephens and James Ennis scored eight points each to help the Energy outscore the BayHawks 28-19 in the second to hold a 47-35 halftime lead.
The Energy continued to control the game in the second half. Andrew Harrison and Patrick Christopher scored 15 of the Energy's 30 third quarter points as the Energy led 77-64 heading into the fourth quarter. It was a high scoring fourth quarter as the Energy kept the BayHawks from getting back into the game. The Energy would go on the win 112-100 as the BayHawks dropped their 17th game in a row.
The Energy are home on this Thursday and Saturday at 7 p.m. for MidAmerican Energy's Go Green Night.
