
Legends Come up Short in Reno

RENO, NV, (Mar. 20, 2016) - The Texas Legends (21-24) fell to the Reno Bighorns (28-16) 113-126 Sunday night.
The two teams struggled for control early in the first, swapping leads six times in the first three minutes. Reno took over with a jumper from Erick Green and never looked back. The Bighorns carried a 16-point advantage into the locker room and extended to their largest of the night (28) 11 minutes into the third. Facing a 22-point deficit with 3:43 to play, the Legends responded with a 9-0 run, but the comeback fell short as the visitors went scoreless the final 90 seconds.
The Legends were led by Jamil Wilson with 25 points, 4 rebounds while Patrick Miller came off the bench for a double-double of 16 points, 10 assists.
Green led the Bighorns with 26 points and David Stockton added 21 points, 6 assists.
