
Iowa Energy Acquire Jarrid Famous

Des Moines, Iowa. - The Iowa Energy has acquired Jarrid Famous, the team announced today. Per team policy, terms of the deal are not disclosed.
Famous (6-11, 240) most recently signed with the Jiangsu Dragons of China, but was released before appearing in a game. Famous played with the Memphis Grizzlies during the 2014 NBA Summer League. He has had two previous stints with the Energy, the first in 2011 and again in 2013. In 62 games (50 starts), Famous has recorded D-League averages of 10.7 points, 7.9 rebounds and 0.5 assists on .477 shooting.
