Iowa Cubs Announce Make-Up Date for Today's Rainout

Des Moines, IA - Today's game between the Iowa Cubs and Nashville Sounds scheduled for 12:05 at Principal Park has been postponed by rain. The game will be made up as part of a double-header on Wednesday, June 19 with the first game starting at 5:00 PM. The double-header will consist of two seven-inning games.

The Cubs and Sounds will resume this series on Thursday night at 6:35. The gates will open at 5:05 for the first Mug Club night of the year and Iowa Cubs Unplugged featuring live music in the concourse behind home plate prior to the game. Tomorrow night is also a Dollar Hot Dog night sponsored by Klement's. RH Nick Struck (0-1, 6.00) will start for the Cubs against RH Johnny Hellweg (1-1, 5.00) for the Sounds. The game will be broadcast live on AM 940 and streamed live at iowacubs.com with the On-Deck Circle Pre-Game Show starting at 6:15.
