Des Moines, IA - The Iowa Barnstormers hit the road to kick off the 2017 Indoor Football League (IFL) season against the Wichita Falls Nighthawks in Wichita Falls, Texas on Saturday, February 18, 2017. Kickoff is set for 7:05 p.m. CST at the Kay Yeager Coliseum.

The Barnstormers will go head to head against the Nighthawks on February 18. This will be the first regular season match for both teams.

The Iowa Barnstormers return several key players including 2016 First All-IFL Wide Receiver Brady Roland and former Illinois State Defensive Back standout, Matt Goldsmith. Also returning is veteran and 2015 First All-IFL Linebacker Javicz Jones. The Barnstormers also bring in veteran talent to both sides of the ball with former Green Bay Blizzard Defensive Back Jamie Bender and former Cedar Rapids Titans Wide Receiver Ryan Balentine, who look to contribute heavily to the 2017 season.

The Barnstormers will return to Wells Fargo Arena on Sunday, March 26, 2017 for their home opener against the Cedar Rapids Titans. Live streaming of all IFL games will be provided to fans for free this season. Fans will be able to stream games on YouTube and also have access to archived games, weekly highlights, and other video content. Fans can watch the Iowa Barnstormers take on the Wichita Falls Nighthawks on Saturday, February 18. The stream will be live at 7:00 p.m. CST.
