Inter Miami CF to Visit Rival Orlando City SC on Sunday

Inter Miami CF (9W-15L-4D, 28 points) is set to carry on with MLS regular season action with a visit to rivals Orlando City SC (14W-7L-8D, 50 points) this Sunday, Sept. 24. Kick off at Exploria Stadium is scheduled to for 7:30 p.m. ET.

Midweek Action at DRV PNK Stadium

Inter Miami will aim to carry on with the team's positive momentum after earning a convincing 4-0 victory over Toronto FC at DRV PNK Stadium on Wednesday night. Facundo Farías continued his strong form with a strike to open the scoring, while substitutes Robert Taylor, who earned Heineken Star of the Match honors, and Benjamin Cremaschi carried the momentum with goals of their own to secure the home win. Notably, with the win Inter Miami has now been undefeated in its past nine matches at DRV PNK Stadium across all competitions, including five MLS regular season home fixtures.

MLS Team of the Matchday Honors for Taylor and Farías

Midfielders Taylor and Farías have been named in the Team of the Matchday for Matchday 33 of the 2023 MLS regular season. The duo earned their spots in the team following their sensational performances that helped the team secure a 4-0 win against Toronto FC last night at DRV PNK Stadium, recording a brace and an assist and a goal and an assist in the matchup respectively.

Third Matchup Against Orlando in 2023

Sunday's MLS regular season fixture against Orlando City will be the third meeting between the sides this season. Last time out, the teams faced off in the Round of 32 of the Leagues Cup in August, with Inter Miami defeating its rivals 3-1 at DRV PNK Stadium.

Scouting Orlando City

Orlando will host Inter Miami after most recently falling 2-0 on the road against NYCFC in the team's past game. Overall, Orlando has a record of 14 wins, seven losses and eight draws for a total of 50 points this regular season and sit second in the Eastern Conference standings.

Midfielder Facundo Torres has been the team's leader thus far this regular season, registering twelve goals and four assists.
