Indy Eleven Preview & Game Notes vs. Minnesota United FC
Published on May 20, 2016 under North American Soccer League (NASL)
Indy Eleven News Release
With just four games remaining for both Indy Eleven and Minnesota United FC, Saturday's clash on IMS & Military Appreciation Night at IUPUI's Carroll Stadium could ultimately determine how the NASL Spring Season shakes out.
The undefeated Eleven keeps earning points and staying within arm's reach of the league's top spot, which is occupied by MNU heading into a Week 7 slate could be equated to a golf tournament's Saturday "moving day." The top six teams in the NASL will be pitted against each other in three crucial match-ups this weekend - FC Edmonton/Carolina and New York/Tampa Bay both go down on Sunday, which means a win on Saturday would allow Indy Eleven to share the top spot with the "Loons" - if only for 24 hours.
