
Individual Game Tickets go on sale March 13th

The Cedar Rapids Kernels will begin selling individual game tickets for the upcoming 2006 season on Monday, March 13 at 10 a.m. Single game tickets range in price from $6 for lawn seats to $9 for premier seating. In addition to the sale of individual tickets, the Bimm Ridder Diamond Shop will also reopen for the 2006 season.
Hours for both the Bimm Ridder Diamond Shop and for purchasing tickets are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. Fans unable to stop by the stadium may order tickets over the phone by calling the Kernels ticket of.ce at 896-7560, or they may order tickets on line at www.kernels.com.
By picking up single game tickets fans can make sure they have their favorite seat for any of the 70 Kernel home games. The home portion of the 2006 schedule is packed with fun-.lled events including visits to Veterans Memorial Stadium by popular acts like the Blues Brothers and the Zooperstars. The Kernels will also have nine .reworks shows on Saturday nights - always a popular draw - beginning May 20th.
The Bimm Ridder Diamond Shop offers fans the perfect opportunity to gear up for Opening Day with a wide variety of authentic Kernels merchandise ranging from clothing, and hats to collectibles of all sorts. The Kernels open the home portion of the 2006 season, their fifth in Veterans Memorial Stadium, on Monday, April 10th, when they host the Peoria Chiefs for a special noon game. The .rst 1,000 fans through the gates to watch the Kernels take on the Chicago Cubs af.liate will receive a miniature replica of Veterans Memorial Stadium sponsored by Collins Community Credit Union.
