West Michigan Whitecaps News Release
COMSTOCK PARK, MI - The West Michigan Whitecaps are making it easier to see a game this season. The team has partnered with TicketReturn to give fans more options when they're purchasing tickets - including the ability to print tickets at home.
"We're really excited about the new partnership with TicketReturn," said Whitecaps director of ticket sales Kerri Troyer. "I think fans are really going to enjoy ordering tickets online through TicketReturn, not only in the ease of use, but also on the cost side of things."
With TicketReturn, fans will be able to order their tickets online through the Whitecaps website and then print off the tickets right from their home computer. After an online order has been placed, users will also have the option to transfer a portion of the tickets to another user with no additional cost through email. That means no waiting in ticket lines - even if your whole group doesn't come to the ballpark together.
Besides the added convenience, fans will also save money with TicketReturn. Ticket fees for online orders will be significantly less than the industry standard. With TicketReturn, account fees and print at home fees have been eliminated. Fans will only pay a $2 per ticket fee. "The newly structured fee scale is much more economical and makes Whitecaps baseball an even better value," said Troyer.
Individual game tickets are on sale now and fans have several options. You can order online at whitecapsbaseball.com, call the ticket sales department at (616) 784-4131 or (800) CAPS-WIN, stop by the Fifth Third Ballpark Ticket Office, fax in your order to (616) 784-4911 or mail your order to the Whitecaps Ticket Office at P.O. Box 428, Comstock Park, MI 49321. The Ticket Office is open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m on Saturday.
The Whitecaps Spring Ticket Offer is also on sale now. This year's special offer includes a ticket for five Whitecaps games, five hot dog and soda vouchers, one free movie ticket and one free small popcorn and soda at Studio 28, Celebration Cinema or Cinema Carousel. The Spring Offer retails for only $49.95 and is available through April 30.
Fans' first chance to see their 2006 Whitecaps in action will be Wednesday, April 5 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m during the Open Workout presented by Belle Tire. The event will feature free hot dogs and sodas, Whitecaps autographs and tours of the new luxury suite outdoor seating. The team's home opener is scheduled for Thursday, April 6 at 6:35 p.m. The game against the Fort Wayne Wizards will be followed by fireworks presented by Farm Bureau Insurance.
