
Indians to stage alumni hockey game

Drawing on their 10 year history in Junior A hockey, the Kewadin Casinos Hockey Team have put out the call to all former Indians Junior players from the years 1995-2004 to participate in the 10th Anniversary Kewadin Casinos Junior A Hockey Team Alumni Game and Golf Tournament.
The tournament will raise money to support the Indians Junior A club as well as area youth hockey.
This first of what is hoped will be an annual event will take place on August 13th & 14th, 2004 in Sault Ste. Marie.
On Friday August 13, 2004, a two-person golf scramble tees off at the Tanglewood Marsh Golf Course.
The following night, current and former Indians face off at the Chi Mukwa Arena.
"This will be a great weekend for all fans to reunite with previous and current players and watch them in action during the reunion hockey game," said the club in a statement on their official website. "We are looking forward to a successful golf outing and alumni game this year and would be honored if our past players could find the time to join us in this worthwhile cause and celebration."
