SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Indians and the American Red Cross are teaming up to help those in the midst of the spreading wildfires across the Inland Northwest.

The Indians will help promote donations at Avista Stadium during the three-game homestand beginning today, Thursday, August 20th, and lasting through Saturday, August 22nd. The Indians are expecting more than 18,000 fans to attend games this weekend.

"These wildfires have spread through our state's cities and hearts, and now it's time to take action to help victims in need," said Indians Senior Vice President Otto Klein. "We ask our fans to join us with this relief effort."

The American Red Cross relies on donations to help disaster victims, and public support is most appreciated. Indians fans can, click, text or call to donate to Red Cross to help people affected by disasters like the Washington Fires and other crises in our region.
