Hillsboro Hops News Release
The Hops are back in Hillsboro to open up an 8-game homestand at Ron Tonkin Field. Tonight is the first of three with the Boise Hawks. First pitch is at 7:05 PM with pregame beginning at 6:35 PM on Rip City Radio 620 AM.
Tonight is Portland Mavericks night. The team will wear throwback uniforms in homage to the barnstorming Portland Mavericks teams that played in the Northwest League from 1973-1977.
Hops first baseman Trevor Mitsui has 6 home runs in his last five games, with at least one in each contest. It is the longest streak in Hops history. He'll look to make it homers in six straight tonight.
