
Indians Recall Bisons' Sowers

The Cleveland Indians today announced the club has recalled LHP Jeremy Sowers from the Bisons. To allow room on the Major League roster, the Indians designated OF Jason Tyner for assignment.
Sowers is 2-2 with a 2.21ERA in seven starts with the Bisons this year (40.2IP, 34H, 11R, 10ER, 14BB, 26K). His 2.21ERA ranks 5th in the International League.
Sowers has already made one spot start for Cleveland this year. On Saturday, April 26 against the New York Yankees, he earned a no-decision with 5.1 innings of work (ND, 5.1IP, 7H, 3R, 3ER, 1BB, 3K).
