Indianapolis Ice Announce First Two Playoff Dates

INDIANAPOLIS, IN-The Northern Conference Champion Indianapolis Ice announced today that the team will be hosting the first two games of the best-of-five first round series on Friday, March 21 and Saturday, March 22. Both first round games will be held at the Pepsi Coliseum with face-off slated for 7:00 p.m. Indy's first round opponent and dates for the rest of the series have yet to be determined.
Tickets for the first two games will go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. at all Ticketmaster locations including select Marsh Supermarkets, Karma Records, select L.S. Ayres and the Pepsi Coliseum and Conseco Fieldhouse box offices, or by calling 239-5151 or online at ticketmaster.com. Tickets for the playoffs range from $12 to $22.
The Ice finishes the regular season with three games in three nights. Indy hosts the Austin IceBats on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. from the Pepsi Coliseum and closes out its home portion of the regular season with a 7:00 p.m. contest with the New Mexico Scorpions on Saturday night from Conseco Fieldhouse. The regular season finale is a 7:05 p.m. contest Sunday night in Memphis against the RiverKings.
Friday night's home game is "Fan Appreciation Night," where the first 5,000 fans will receive a team photo that can be used for autographs in a post-game signing session with the players. Saturday night features a pre-game concert from Christian recording artist, Salvador. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. with concert slated to begin around 5:00 p.m.
