Charlotte Independence News Release
Charlotte (NC) - The Charlotte Independence professional soccer team has agreed to a 2-year partnership with Brightway Insurance, The Dimitri J. Apostle Agency.
The partnership comes at an exciting time for the team, as construction is set to begin on the team's new home at a completely rebuilt American Legion Memorial Stadium in the uptown.
With the benefits and assets from the men's professional soccer team, The Dimitri J. Apostle Agency will leverage those assets to improve branding, execute VIP hospitality and advertise via multiple digital channels. The Dimitri J. Apostle Agency looks to market and sell the deepest selection of home, auto, flood, commercial and life insurance options available with any agency.
"The Charlotte Independence give our agency the ability to build our brand, reach a sizeable consumer base and market to 12,000 families affiliated with the Charlotte Independence Soccer Club," said Dimitri Apostle, owner of the Charlotte region's The Dimitri J. Apostle Agency. "We're excited to build our business with the assets the Independence have provided."
The partnership provides year-long marketing assets, including direct marketing at the pro team games, which are played at the Sportsplex at Matthews. The Dimitri J. Apostle Agency also receives VIP hospitality options and a bevy of digital assets to reach the Charlotte region's residents and soccer fans.
"We're excited to partner with The Dimitri J. Apostle Agency. Dimitri has the unique ability to deliver a deep and wide array of insurance products to meet the needs of our fans and families," said Tim Schuldt, Charlotte Independence Chief Revenue Officer. "We're grateful for the faith Dimitri has placed in us."
The new agreement delivers benefits through the 2020 Charlotte Independence season and positions The Dimitri J. Apostle Agency with the opportunity to extend their category partnership, with the pro team, when they transition to their new home the all new American Legion Memorial Stadium in uptown Charlotte.
