
Impact Unveils Soccer Schools Summer Program

MONTREAL "" The Montreal Impact unveiled, on Tuesday, its Soccer School's summer program, presented in collaboration with Oasis and Adidas. Five weeks during the summer are available for young players and goalkeepers from U6 to U16; June 25, July 2, July 9, August 6 and 13, from Mondays to Fridays, 9am to noon.
Players will be divided based on their age groups. Participants will receive a ball and a t-shirt, as well as 15 hours of training offered by the technical staff of the Soccer Schools, which is made up of coaches from the Impact Academy. Cost is $185 (plus tax) / week for one week, $175/week for two weeks and $165/week for three weeks or more.
"This summer will be filled with the most weeks ever offered in the history of the EDS," declared Olivier Brett, director of the Impact Soccer Schools. "The summer camps have always been popular with kids and parents alike, so we are definitely looking forward to the month of June to get things started."
The 2012 summer camps will be held at Stade Hebert in St. Leonard due to renovations being done at Stade Saputo and the repairs being done to the training field at Olympic Park.
Early registration
Participants who register for the 2012 Summer Camps before May 15 will be given two tickets for the MLS game on September 22 between the Montreal Impact and Sporting Kansas City, at the new Stade Saputo.
The Soccer Schools return with the Loisirs 3000
Following last year's success, the EDS have extended its association with Loisirs 3000, the reference for summer camps in Quebec for over 10 years. Loisirs 3000, in 2011, won an award of excellence for its partnership with the Impact. The EDS once again ensures that its soccer camps will provide Loisirs 3000 participants fun and soccer training.
Prepare for your summer this spring!
The Impact Soccer Schools continues with traditional programming this spring, with a more complete coverage. On top of the regular schedule at the Leonardo Da Vinci Sports Centre, which is already full, the EDS makes its way into the west of Montreal at Club West Island, in Beaconsfield, as well as on the south shore, at the Bell Sports Complex, in Brossard. The spring sessions begin in May.

3rd session available May 12 at Olympic Stadium
The Impact Soccer Schools have put in place a 3rd training session at Olympic Stadium, on Saturday, May 12, between 7:30 and 9pm, in order to respond to the strong demand and satisfy its clientele.
Young soccer players (U6 to U16) can take advantage of a 90-minute training session on the same field used a few hours earlier by professional players when the Impact faces off against the LA Galaxy and star players David Beckham, Landon Donovan and Robbie Keane.
Each participant will receive a ticket for the game against the Galaxy, a ball, a t-shirt and a rebate coupon for the Impact boutique.
