NORMAL, Illinois - The CornBelters and the Illinois State University Alumni Association have announced details on the annual ISU Alumni night at The Corn Crib, presented by Illinois Corn Growers, in Normal.
ISU Alumni Night on Thursday, June 28 will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a pre-game cookout at the Illinois State Horticulture Center located directly across from The Corn Crib (1000 West Raab Road). Join us for a summer night full of fun and entertainment with ISU alumni, friends, faculty, students, Reggie Redbird, and Corny.
The cookout has a fee of $5 and includes pulled pork, shredded chicken, veggie burgers, baked beans, chips, cookies, ice cream, and non-alcoholic beverages. A cash bar will also be available. Registration for the pregame cookout closes at 4:30 p.m. on June 26.
Following the cookout, the CornBelters will take on the River City Rascals. Gates will open at 6:05 p.m. with the first pitch slated for 7:05 p.m. June 28 is a Budweiser Thirst Quenchin' Thursday featuring $1 domestic draft beers and $3 margarita specials at select ballpark concessions.
Tickets are $10 per Reserved Box Seat and should be purchased in advance. Registration for game tickets closes at 4:00 p.m. on June 22. Guests will receive one (1) free hot dog and soft drink during the game, compliments of the CornBelters.
ISU senior biology education major Kayla Haines will perform the National Anthem. Kris Harding, Executive Director of Alumni Engagement and Jeff Bovee, Head Coach of Men's and Women's Track and Field will each throw out the ceremonial first pitches.

To purchase game tickets after the deadline contact Sean Mendyk with the CornBelters at (309) 451-3437 and mention the ISU alumni section. Tickets purchased after the deadline can be picked up from The Corn Crib MICU Box Office will-call located on the southwest corner of the facility.
