Joliet, IL - The Joliet Slammers presented by ATI Physical Therapy played according to schedule, despite the heavy rains throughout the evening. The team slipped on the field and on the scoreboard, losing to Washington 13-2 in game 2 of the series.

The Slammers would fall behind for the remainder of the game, losing 13-2.

Tonight's Merchants and Manufacturers Player of the Game is R.J Thompson (2-3, 2 RBIs). The Slammers return for game 3 of the series Thursday night at 7:05 p.m.
