
Illinois Lottery Cup Showdown Tonight

Rockford, Ill.- After a short Christmas break, the Rockford IceHogs return to the ice at the BMO Harris Bank Center to host their Midwest Division rival Chicago Wolves tonight at 7:05 p.m.
The Hogs and Wolves meet in another Illinois Lottery Cup matchup for the sixth time on the campaign. The IceHogs (15-13-1-1) currently sit in second place in a tight Midwest Division, just two points back of the top spot. The Wolves (13-9-3-1) are positioned in third place, two points behind the IceHogs.
One lucky fan at tonight's contest will shoot for a chance to win a brand new car in the Toyota Showcase Shootout during the second intermission. Fans can enter to win at the U.S. Cellular Fan Zone, located on the main concourse just above the escalators.

Chicago has had the upper hand so far in the season series with Rockford. The IceHogs are 1-3-0-1 against their division rival in 2012-13 and 27-26-2-2 all-time against the Wolves.
Team captain Martin St. Pierre leads the IceHogs with 12 goals and 26 points on the campaign, with one of the markers and three helpers coming against Chicago. Kyle Beach and Jeremy Morin each show three goals apiece against the Wolves.
Next Home Game: Saturday, Dec. 29 vs. Milwaukee. Game time is 7:05 p.m. The first 1,000 kids (14 and under) into the building will receive an IceHogs youth jersey compliments of Rockford Orthopedic.
