Upcoming Games

The Ignition's visit to Stockton, CA will be the fourth time the Ignition and the Cougars have squared off this season. Detroit leads the season series 2-1 highlighted by Jamar Beasley's 14-point performance against the Cougars in Detroit on December 3, 2006 at Compuware Sports Arena. The Cougars have undergone some changes since these two clubs last met as the dismissal of head coach Troy Dayak and the announcement of star forward Bernie Lilavois as interim head coach have changed the face of the organization. Saturday's contest will be just the second contest since the regime change as the 5-14 Cougars look to break their seven-game losing streak. The club is led on the field by Lilavois and Vicente Figueroa who have combined for an impressive 82 points thus far this season. Ignition forward Jamar Beasley goes into Saturday's game looking to strengthen his seven-point lead in League scoring as the first-year club looks to improve upon its 5-5 record on the road during the 2006-07 campaign.
