May 11, 2009 - Xtreme Soccer League (XSL)
Detroit Ignition News Release
(Southfield, Mich., May 11, 2009) - The Detroit Ignition is preparing for the 2009 edition of the club's summer soccer camp program set to launch in June of this year. Over 1,400 children took part in the team's camp program last summer.
The summer soccer camp program offers children ages 6-14 the opportunity to learn directly from Ignition players and staff in locations throughout Southeastern Michigan. The organization offers half-day, full-day and evening camps, as well as specialized programs for younger players (ages 2-5) and advanced teams/clubs.
To help offset the cost of summer camps, the Ignition offers a number of cost-saving options for parents. Campers that register before May 15, 2009 will automatically receive a $10 discount. Another $10 discount is given for any sibling registrations, regardless of the time of registration. Additionally, the team is hosting a number of free soccer clinics and promotions throughout the area where discounts are given for same-day sign-ups. More information can be found at camps.detroitignition.com or by calling the Ignition at 888-436-GOAL (4625).
