EL SEGUNDO, Calif., - NBA G League Ignite (6-9) falls to the South Bay Lakers (9-5) on Saturday, 119-107, at the UCLA Health Training Center in El Segundo, Calif.

John Jenkins led the way for Ignite with a final stat line of 27 points, three rebounds and three assists on 8-of-18 shooting from the field, including 6-of-8 from the three-point line. Jenkins now has scored at least 20 points in seven consecutive games. Eric Mika adds another double-double with a season-high 24 points and 12 rebounds. Mika now has 11 double-doubles on the season, which tied Michael Foster Jr. (2021-22) for the most double-doubles in a single season in Ignite history. Leonard Miller posted 16 points and eight rebounds, while London Johnson finished with 14 points, five assists and four rebounds.

The Lakers were paced by Cole Swider, who poured in 25 points and four rebounds on 5-of-10 shooting from the three-point line. Shaquille Harrison followed with 21 points, 11 rebounds and five rebounds to notch a double-double. Cameron Oliver produced 16 points and five rebounds, while Devin Cannady recorded 15 points, four rebounds and three assists.

Ignite caught fire to open the game behind John Jenkins, who poured in 14 of his 27 points in the first quarter. As a team, Ignite shot 61.1 percent from the field, including 62.5 percent from the three-point line en route to taking a five-point lead into the second quarter. Ignite held its advantage throughout the first half and took a 14-point lead with the help of Eric Mika and London Johnson, who added 14 and 10 points, respectively. The Lakers used a 10-0 run at the end of the half to cut its deficit to four points behind Cole Swider, who recorded 17 points in the first half on 5-of-9 shooting from the field, including 4-of-7 from behind the arc.

South Bay came out of half-time with the hot hand as the Lakers shot 60 percent from the field and 57.1 percent from behind the arc to take its first lead of the game late in the third quarter and a 9-point advantage heading into the final frame. The Lakers held its advantage throughout the fourth quarter while taking its largest lead of the game, 14, to coast to the victory.
