
Idaho's Robinson Named Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Idaho?Steelheads' forward?Brett Robinson is the Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL?Player of the Week for March 2-8.
Robinson scored two goals, added six assists and was a +6 in three games last week as the Steelheads swept a three-game series with Stockton.
The 30-year-old had three points (1g-2a) in a 7-2 win on?Wednesday, picked up an assist in a 4-1 victory on?Friday and had four points (1g-3a) in a 6-2 win on?Saturday.
A native of North York, Ontario, Robinson has 40 points (18g-22a) in 40 games this season.
Robinson has tallied 190 points (77g-113a) in 272 career ECHL games with Idaho, Greenville and Cincinnati. He has added 29 points (18g-11a) in 51 career games in the Kelly Cup Playoffs, and captured the 2010 Kelly Cup title with Cincinnati.
On behalf of Brett Robinson, a case of pucks will be donated to an Idaho youth hockey organization by Sher-Wood Hockey, the exclusive puck supplier of the ECHL. Since beginning its sponsorship of the award in 2000-01, Sher-Wood Hockey has donated more than 31,000 pucks to youth hockey organizations in ECHL cities.
