"With the assistance of the Corpus Christi Ice Rays generous donation of tickets for our blood donors, the Coastal Bend Blood Center was able to collect over 3,000 units of blood products for patients and hospitals during the month of October. This makes this October the second most productive month for the Blood Center in the past four years. We are so honored to have the Ice Rays as a partner in our lifesaving mission and look forward to future opportunities to work together to educate and thank blood donors across the Coastal Bend" said Breanna Rye, Donor Development and Marketing for the Coastal Bend Blood Center.
"As an organization we are very excited to give back to the community by rewarding donors with tickets to a hockey game" said Dave Gilmore.
