
Icemen Live Returns For Third Year

EVANSVILLE, IN.--- The Evansville IceMen proud ECHL affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets and St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League and the Springfield Falcons and Peoria Rivermen of the American Hockey League have announced on this date the return of the IceMen ever-popular Monday night radio show as the club gets ready to launch its inaugural campaign in the ECHL in the league's 25th Anniversary Season in 2012-13.
"ICEMEN LIVE PRESENTED BY COORS LIGHT" will return for its third consecutive year and for a third successive season on the IceMen flagship home of WEOA-AM 1400. The very popular weekly IceMen radio show will mark its weekly return for the new ECHL season, MONDAY NIGHT, SEPTEMBER 24TH from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Once again, for a third consecutive year, the IceMen weekly radio program will be hosted by SHOW-ME'S EAST, located on Morgan Center Drive across from the Showplace Cinema Theaters. The program will be presented in front of a live studio audience with admission to the show always being free!
Under this programming arrangement, "ICEMEN LIVE PRESENTED BY COORS LIGHT" will be presented live on radio on WEOA-AM 1400 as well as on the world-wide internet at 1400amweoa.com for the full two hours of 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The IceMen special guests for the new season's lead-off show for the third season will be IceMen team favorites, 2011-12 CHL league scoring kingpin and Team MVP TODD ROBINSON and his linemate, the team's second top goal-scoring artisan in '11-12, left wing JOSH BEAULIEU. Both Robinson and Beaulieu will discuss the IceMen new season and the excitement surrounding their team's maiden voyage in the NHL-affiliated ECHL.
Everyone is invited to attend the live IceMen radio shows and be a part of the live studio audience. It represents a great opportunity for fans and friends alike to gather and enjoy the fun as well as get up close and personal with their favorite IceMen players and personalities. The fun-filled show also features plenty of contests and free giveaways. There are always a plethora of prizes and gaggle of gifts given away every Monday night.
TERRY FICORELLI, "THE VOICE OF THE ICEMEN," will, again, emcee the program, live from the SHOW-ME'S EAST stage as well as the Tri-State listenership on WEOA-AM 1400 and 1400amweoa.com. "ICEMEN LIVE PRESENTED BY COORS LIGHT" airs every Monday night during the IceMen playing season for two full hours from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm and monthly during the summer off-season on Monday nights from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
