
IceGators to have big weekend in community

Lafayette, LA â Louisiana IceGators Bruce Richardson and Bobby Brown will sign autographs tonight from 5-7 as part of the Junior League's Tinsels and Treasures "Stroller Walk" at the Cajundome Convention Center. The signing event kicks off a big weekend of activity for the IceGators, who have physicals Saturday at 12 p.m. at 315 South College St. (Louisiana Physical Therapy) and skate for the first time this season at 10 a.m. Sunday.
Saturday from 4-6 p.m., the IceGators will be at the St. Edmond's Fair on the corner of Ambassador Caffery and West Congress St. They will be signing autographs, and ticket representatives will be on hand to answer any questions. Sunday from 12-2 p.m., the IceGators will also be at the St. Edmond's Fair to sign autographs. The IceGators encourage Acadiana to come out and meet the newest members of the team.
Louisiana starts its eighth ECHL season on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Arkansas at 7:05 p.m. The IceGators return to the Cajundome for their home opener the next day, Sunday, Oct. 13, at 4:05 p.m. versus the RiverBlades.
For ticketing information, please call (337)234-4423, ext. 208. Season tickets are on sale now and start at as low as $269, while children's season tickets (ages 6-16) begin at just $148 with a parent purchase. As always, season tickets for children five and under are FREE!
IceGators' Ice Packs are also on sale. Ice Packs consist of 18 DISCOUNTED vouchers to be used in any way. You can go to 18 games yourself, or take yourself and two friends to six games, etc. Ice Packs range from $135 in the third level to $324 at rinkside.
Single-game tickets continue to be on sale for the entire season, including the October 13 home-opener. Tickets range from $9 for third level to $22 for rinkside, while children 2-18, students with valid ID and senior citizens get $2 off all tickets. That same group can purchase third-level tickets for just $5.75.
