The Niagara IceDogs beat the Mississauga Steelheads 4-2 Thursday night at the Meridian Centre.
Brendan Perlini opened the scoring with his 23rd goal of the season, just 1:43 into the first period.
Billy Jenkins made it 2-0 midway through the second, before Carter Verhaeghe made it a three-goal game. Sean Day got one back for the Steelheads to make it 3-1 at 19:12 of the middle frame.
The Steelheads made it a one-goal game when Michael McLeod scored at 10:38 of the third period. A goal by Anthony DiFruscia, his 17th of the season, with less than two minutes remaining put the game away for the IceDogs.
Brandon Hope made 28 saves in goal, as the IceDogs have now won eight of their last 10 games.
They're back in action Saturday night when they host the North Bay Battalion at 7:00pm.
