IceDogs Score 6 in Port Colborne for a Victory over Windsor

Port Colborne, ON - The Niagara IceDogs headed down to Port Colborne today for an afternoon exhibition game against the Windsor Spitfires.
Just under seven minutes into the game, Sirizzotti opened up the scoring for the Dogs on the power-play with a tap in rebound off of Windsor's netminder. Papais and Zito were credited with the assists.
Not long after, Agostinelli found the back of the net after being set up from IceDogs defenders, Rodwin Dionicio and David Jesus. This D-pair didn't stop there. Dionicio and Jesus found Matthew Papais on his wing and a quick release found the Dogs leading 3-0 in the first 9 minutes of the game.
Less than a minute later Windsor went to score two goals late in the second period and one in the third to make it 3 unanswered and tie the game at 3 a piece. It didn't take long for Brice Cooke to dance in and put it passed Kyle Downey of the Spitfires to take the lead for Niagara. Alec Leonard and Pano Fimis were credited with assists on the Cooke goal. 20 seconds and one line change later, Brenden Sirizzotti netted his second of the night to extend the lead. David Jesus and Matthew Papais each picked up another point off of the goal.
Windsor responded at the nine minute mark to bring the lead within one. But IceDogs defenceman, David Jesus, sent them packing as he fired it down the ice for an empty netter to seal the deal and make it a 6-4 win for Dogs.
