Niagara IceDogs News Release
This afternoon, your Niagara IceDogs are heading down to the Vale Health and Wellness Centre in Port Colborne for some more pre-season action. They are set to play the Windsor Spitfires in a community exhibition game.
Fans are encouraged to show up early to enjoy a tailgate rock concert by the band Renegade from 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM and puck drop at 2:00 PM. Proceeds raised from the game will support the Canadian Forces Soldier On program and Port Colborne Wave Girls Hockey club.
This pre-season matchup will be the first time these two teams are meeting since December of 2019. It will be a reunion with former teammates for recently acquired forward, Pasquale Zito and defenceman, Nathan Ribau who were traded to Niagara from Windsor this off-season. Keep your eyes on these two today as they bring a veteran presence to the team with over 200 regular-season games played collectively.
